INDIAN WOMAN POLITICIAN SENT TO GAOL. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) BOMBAY. December 9. Mrs Vijayalakshmi, Pandit Nehru's sister, who is a prominent member of the Congress Party and was Minister of Local Self-Government and Public Health in the United Provinces Government in 1937, has been sentenced to four months’ imprisonment for civil disobedience.
