ton sale yesterday. Sheep met with good enquiry and made late values. Springing cows and heifers sold well, and fat and forward cows were in strong demand and sold at improved prices. All classes of pigs were easier in price. The following are prices;— Fat shorn wethers (heavy), 28s; fat woolly hoggets, 265; shorn forward ewes, 14s; springing cows, £lO to £l3; later calvers, £6 15s to £8 10s; empty yearling dairy heifers (very good), £6; smaller, £4 10s to £5 ss; fat cows, £6 10s to £8 ss; forward condition cows, £4 15s to £5 8s; store cows, £2 10s to £3; station cows with calves at foot, £7 10s to £B. 3s; baconers, £2 15s to £3 10s; porkers, 39s to £2 ss; slips, 19s to 265; weaners, 11s 6d to 14s.
