SALE AT FEILDING PRICES FULLY MAINTAINED. GOOD DEMAND FOR LAMBS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, December 6. Another very light entry of all stock was yarded at Feilding today. Prices were fully maintained in all sections. Fat sheep: All the mutton yarded was of good medium quality, but the supply was barely sufficient to meet the demand. The first of new season’s lambs sold readily. Prime hoggets made 225. 10d„ light 20s. Id.; extra prime wethers 265. Id. to 295. 4d., medium prime 235. 7d. to 245. Id., light 21s. Id. to 225.; extra prime ewes 19s. Id., prime 15s. 4d. to 17s. 10d., light and unfinished Bs. 4d. to 14s. 10d.; spring lambs, 245. 6d. Store sheep; Only a few pens were available, prices showing no change. Best two-tooth ewes sold for 28s. 3d., smaller 275.; medium two-tooth wethers 18s. to 18s. Bd.
Store cattle: A fair supply of station stock was on offer and met with a steady demand. Good quality young cattle were wanted, and for these prices showed an advance. Good twoyear A.A. heifers brought £6 Is. to £6 165., smaller £5 Is.; empty A.A. cows £6 Is. to £6 9s. 6d.; well grown' twoyear A.A. steers £7 3s. to £7 10s., second quality £6 to £6 155., backward £5 ss. to £5 155.; good A.A. yearling steers, £5 4s. 6d. to £5 155.; forward three-year A.A. steers £9 Is.; yearling A.A. heifers, £3 55.; A.A. cows with calves, good £B, others £6; Hereford cows with calves £7 45.; yearling A.A. bulls, £3 12s. 6d.; works cows, heavy £4 10s.'to £5 55., others £2 15s. to £4 55.; yearling Jersey heifers, best £5 7s. 6d. to £6 7s. 6d„ smaller £3 15s. to £4 7s. 6d.
Dairy cattle: Heifers close to profit still held in steady demand at late rates. Best quality springing heifers made £9 to £9 155., latei’ calvers £7 to £8 155.; heifers in milk £7 to £8 12s. 6d.; cows in milk, £5 ss. Fat cattle: Female beef met with a fair inquiry, as did a moderate selection of light steers, values being a shade firm on late rates. Light prime steers brought £9 12s. 6d. to £lO 55., others £7 17s. 6d. to £8 155.; medium prime A.A. heifers £8 2s. 6d. to £9 2s. 6d.; prime cows and heifers £ll 2s. 6d, light prime £8 7s; 6d. to £9 12s. 6d.; ex-dairy cows, heavy £7 7s. 6d. to £8 12s. 6d, light £5 2s. 6d. to £6 155.; heavy runners £6 ss. to £6' 7s. 6d.; vealers £2 15s.
Pigs: All pigs sold well at keen prices. Good weaners made 225. to 255.; slips, 31s.;'large stores £2 4s. 6d, small £1 175.; porkers £2 Bs. to £2 16s. 6d.
