GALA DAY
CHILDREN’S GATHERING IN THE PARK EFFORT TO ASSIST £1,000,000 APPEAL. The public assembled in large numbers in Masterton Park this afternoon to witness the children's gala day. Many young folk were present in fancy costume and other attractions of a varied nature provided plenty of amusement for old and young. It is expected that the £1.000,000 Patriotic Fund Appeal will benefit considerably as the result of this afternoon’s gathering. '
