Ottawa. —As a war measure, all municipalities in Ontario and in Quebec which observed daylight saving time during the summer will continue to do so. Ordinarily, summer time was changed to standard about the end of September. The maintenance of summer time will lend to harness more effectively Canada’s power resources for the war effort and to make available 189.000 more electrical horsepowerfor Canada’s war industries.
