♦ . NEW ZEALAND MESSAGE TO BRITAIN. ENDORSED BY ALL PARTIES IN PARLIAMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A loyal message is to be sent from the Parliament and people of New Zealand to the Government of the United Kingdom. Just'before the Parliamentary session came to an end in the House of Representatives late yesterday afternoon reference was made by the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, and by the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Holland, to the spirit of the British people, and it was decided to have an appropriate message dispatched to the British Government expressing New Zealand’s solidarity with the British cause. Mr. Fraser said the marvellous fight put up by the British people for freedom had been an inspiration to people in the Dominion. He had no formal motion prepared, but as the House was about to adjourn he would like a message to be sent in the name of every member of the House, and in the name of the people of New Zealand, to the Government of Great Britain assuring them of the unswerving loyalty and support of the people of this country foi' the cause which the British Commonwealth has espoused, and expressing solidarity with the people of Britain. , The Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Holland, said that all members, of the Opposition wished to be associated with the message suggested by the Prime Minister.
