NURSE HODGES
FAREWELL AT SOLDIERS' CLUB. There was an attendance of 40 at a farewell evening tendered to Nurse Hodges by her friends in the Soldiers’ Club, Masterton, on Tuesday night. Nurse Hodges, who has been for some years past district nurse in the Wairarapa, has been appointed matron of Otaki Health Camp. Items were given by many of those present. The R.S.A., of which Nurse Hodges was a member, was particularly well represented. In making a presentation to Nurse Hodges, Mr R. Whyborn (president of the Wairarapa R.S.A.) wished her success in her new sphere of operations. Mr J. Ninnes replied on behalf of Nurse Hodges.
