GRADY MEDALS WIN FOR HOLDERS. (“Timpo-Age” Special.) Messrs. Thompson and Shearer of the Park Club played a match for the Grady Medals against the holders, Messrs. Shedden and Higgiscn. The latter scored a good lead at the start of the game, but a seven by the Park players evened the game half-way through. The holders, however, kept a small lead and the game finished 27-20. Playing for the Dennes Medal, H. B. Wallace beat H. G. Carter, but later he was defeated by L. Curtis. The following draw for the singles’ championship has been made and will be played in two sections. All the games will be played on the two-life system:—A section—Cate v Burden, Shedden v. Curtis, Brunton v. Day, Carter v. Connolly, Nightingale v. Kiernan, Kenning v Kilgour, Brown v Burns, Higgison v Wallace, Dennes v Knell, Bunny v. McLeod. B section:—Peterson v. Skeet, H. R. Feast v. Bockett, Bloomfield v H. W. Feast, Campbell v. McPhee, Reid v. Robinson, Compton a bye. Personal. Gunner G. Keltic has returned to Wellington after having spent his leave at Greytown.
