BOWLING CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following are the results of the championship games played by the Featherston Bowling Club at the weekend: Championship singles: James beat Bloxam, W. Higgison beat W. H. Rowles, G. O'Neale beat J. Anderson, A. B. Fuge beat J. B. Davis, H. Rolls beat H. McNamara. Pairs championship: Card and W. Higgison beat James and O’Neale. Croquet Match. In a match played between the Haunui and Featherston clubs on the Haunui green for the A Buttons, the home team retained the buttons by 26-24. Mesdames Saunders and Hyland represented Featherston and Mrs Barry and Miss Nix the Haunui Club. Personal. Mrs Slocombe is visiting Dunedin and will later go to Invercargill. Rainfall for November. During November rain fell in Featherston on 17 days, the total reaching 6.30 inches. The maximum fall was 1.81 inches on November 7. Vital Statistics. There were 4 births, 1 death and 2 marriages in Featherston in November.
