MEAT RATIONS
REDUCTION POSTPONED IN BRITAIN ANNOUNCEMENT BY FOOD MINISTER. HARDER LIVING IN PROSPECT. As a Christmas box to the people of Britain, the Food Minister, Lord Woolton, has announced a postponement of the cutting down of meat rations, the 8.8. C. reports. At the same time, he stated, the people must be prepared to live harder, but this did not mean a tightening of belts. They would not have to go hungry.
