SECOND DAY RESULTS. CHIEF EVENT TO FRIESLAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING. December 3. Keen racing with close finishes featured the concluding day of the Feilding Jockey Club's spring meeting yesterday. The principal race, the St. Andrew’s Handicap, was won by Friesland, and Wings of Song took the sprint. When Advance Plane fell in the hurdle race and Prinihia fell over him, W. Grindlay, the rider of Advance Plane, received fractured ribs, lung injuries. and an incised wound on the jaw. J. Hayes, the rider of Prinihia. injured an arm and a leg. An inquiry was opened into the accident, and was adjourned. The weather was dull but fine, and there was a good attendance for an oil' day. The track was in excellent order and fast. The totalisator handled £15,950 for the day,'against £14,284 10s on the off day last year, which was a Thursday. The total for the meeting was £38,392. against £34,334 10s. an increase of £4057 10s.
