OBITUARY
MR. GEORGE IHAKA. The death occurred yesterday of Mr. George Ihaka, who was born at Taueru 48 years ago. He had been employed on Te Parae station and had been in indifferent health for the past two years. He is survived by a widow, two sons and four daughters. The funeral will take place on Monday. following a service to be held at 10 a.m. for the Masterton cemetery. MR. WILLIAM TURNER. The death occurred yesterday of Mr. William Turner, at the age of 64 years. The late Mr. Turner came to New Zealand 30 years ago and followed the occupation of a carpenter with the New Zealand Railways. For a period of 13 years he was employed at the railway workshops at Kaiwarra and resided at Petone. He had lived in Masterton for the past 14 years, and had been in charge of bridge building and construction works. He is survived by a widow. The only daughter predeceased him 15 years ago. The funeral will take place tomorrow at the Taita Cemetery, at 2 p.m.
