4 SITTING OF WAIRARAPA AUTHORITY. TRANSFERS AND AMENDMENTS. A sitting of the No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority (Mr P. J. Skoglund) was held in the Masterton Courthouse this morning. The following business was dealt with:— Transfer of goods service licence: F. H. Schormann to C. Farrow, Eketahuna—Granted. Transfer of passenger licence: R. D. Banks to Jenkins Motor Services. Ltd.. Masterton.—Granted. Amendment to passenger licence, F. H. Seward (Lake Ferry).—Granted. Passenger service licence (new application), F. H; Seward (Lake Ferry). —Granted. Review of goods service licences: I. Allen and Sons. Ltd., Masterton.— Granted. R. J. Nilsson, Masterton.— Licence revoked. Amendment to goods service licence: A. D. Cove, Pahiatua — Granted. Mr S.. K. Siddells, Pahiatua, appeared in support of the application and Mr J. Macfarlane Laing opposed the application on behalf of the Wairarapa Transport Company. The application was the result of the change-over from butter to cheese supply in the Pahiatua district.
