THE BULGARIAN MINISTER IN BERLIN VON PAPEN’S TALKS IN TURKEY. NAZIS REPORT EASING OF TENSION. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, November 26. The Berlin radio announced that the Bulgarian Minister in Berlin had returned to Sofia to confer with his Government. The radio also stated that neutral circles in Ankara noticed a remarkable relaxation in political tension on Tuesday, adding that this development was connected with the conversation between Herr von Papen (German Ambassador), and M. Sarajoglu (Turkish Foreign Minister).
STUDENT RIOT NAZIS AND COMMUNISTS IN SOFIA. NUMEROUS ARRESTS.MADE. (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, November 26. The Associated Press of Great Britain Sofia correspondent says it is authoritatively stated that Russia and Bulgaria have discussed the “general situation.” Nazi and Communist university students in Sofia battled with chairs after the Nazis had attempted to distribute leaflets claiming an outlet to the Aegean for Bulgaria. Numerous arrests were made.
