MASONIC COMMUNICATION OPENED. WELLINGTON OFFICERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The fifty-first annual communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge opened this morning. Officials of the Grand Lodge, delegates, and local Freemasons attending as spectators, made a large gathering. Mr C. I. McDiarmid was duly confirmed as Grand Master and district elective officers were chosen under the scheme of distribution submitted by the Board of General Purposes. The Wellington District Grand Lodge officers are: Grand Director of Ceremonies, Mr W. S. Barr; Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, Mr Richard Smith; Grand Standard Bearer, Mr H. Wade; Grand Pursuivant, Mr D. Parnell: Grand Stewards, Messrs J. R. Bair, W. H. B. Bull, G. R. Kemsley. L. A. McAlister; Members of the Board of General Purposes: Messrs F. W. Furkert, C. H. Taylor; Member of the Board of Benevolence, Mr W. A. Tanner.
