SALVATION ARMY

o FAREWELL GATHERING TONIGHT. Tonight a public farewell will be given Major and Mrs. J. Mahaffie, officers in charge of the Masterton Salvation Army Corps for some years. The gathering will take place in the Masterton Citadel tonight. Major and Mrs. C. Neeve, of the Wellington South Barracks, have been appointed to succeed Major and Mrs. Mahaffie. They will be given a public welcome on Thursday.
