MASAI TRIBE
GENEROUS CONTRIBUTION TO WAR FUND. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, November 23. Nairobi reports that the Masai tribe, the great cattle owners of Kenya Colony, for whom cattle are currency, cash being considered of little value, has arranged to sell 1600 head of cattle a month to the Supply Board for the duration of the war. The Narok branch of the Masai has started a collection of 2s. a head on the cattle sold as a contribution to the war fund. The collection gives promise of raising £lOOO annually.
