RAID ALARM
SOUNDED IN MARSEILLES NAZIS SAY TEN BOMBS WERE DROPPED. HAVAS CORRESPONDENT STATES NO PLANES WERE HEARD. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright! (Received This Day. 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, November 24. The German News Agency, quoting Vichy sources, says the Mayor of Marseilles announced that unidentified planes bombed Marseilles last night. Ten bombs were dropped. Four persons were killed and some injured. Twenty fires were started. The Havas Agency Vichy correspondent states that an alarm at Marseilles lasted for an hour, but no aircraft were heard.
