A BREAKFAST DISH
FRIED PINEAPPLE AND HAM. Cut pineapple into slices (or use canned pineapple), remove peel and core. Melt 1 tablespoon butter and 1 dessertspoon brown sugar and 2 tablespoons syrup (if tinned), add pineapple, and fry until brown. Fry slices of ham for a few minutes in a little butter. Dish up on rounds of fried bread, having ham for top. A little made mustard added to butter before frying ham is an improvement.
