ARRIVAL FROM SOUTH AFRICA EFFECTIVE EMPLOYMENT. ON ITALIAN SOMALILAND FRONTIER. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, November 18. A Cairo account of the patrol action last month at Liboi, near the Italian Somaliland frontier, released today, reveals the arrival of armoured cars from South Africa and their effective employyment. Four of these successfully attacked a large force, inflicting heavy casualties. The 8.8. C. reports that four South African armoured cars fought their way successfully through a large enemy force which attempted to ambush them on a narrow pathway passing through an area of dense scrub.
