APPEAL TO KNITTERS

ARTICLES FOR FIGHTING FORCES. AN INCREASING DEMAND. An appeal is made by the Masterton Ladies' Patriotic Committee for all knitters to continue their activites as the demand for knitted articles for men in the fighting forces is expanding. It is understood that some knitting groups have gone into recess, and it is pointed out that large supplies of wool have come to hand for distribution in the local area. In view of the increasing demand for knitted articles, all knitters are urged to continue their work on behalf of soldiers, sailors and airmen. Supplies of knitting wool may be obtained from the Ladies’ Rest Room. Masterton.
