CHURCH SERVICES

Mr R. T .Wright, Lower Hutt, will speak at both Church of Christ services. The Masterton Rotary Club will hold their annual Church Parade at St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, at. 11 a.m. tomorrow. At 7 p.m. a memorial service for the late Mr Neville Chamberlain will be held. Archdeacon E. J. Rich will be the preacher at both services. The Rev. V. W. Joblin will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. Services will be held at Taueru at 9.45 a.m., at Rangitumau at 1.45 p.m., and at Kopuaranga at 2.45 p.m. The services at the Salvation Army barracks tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Ericson, assisted by the staff of the Whatman Home. The service to be conducted in the Y.M.C.A. tomorrow morning by the Masterton Baptist Fellowship should attract a good attendance. The speaker at 11 a.m. will be the Rev. H. E. Edridge, now minister al the Miramar Baptist Church, who is well known in the Dominion, having served the Baptist denomination as president, and who takes a prominent part in its work at the present time. At the Methodist Church tomorrow the services will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. The subject at the morning service will be "The Christian's place in Society.” and in the evening "Abundant Life." The choir will visit the Hospital for a choral service at 4 p.m. The evening service at Kuripuni conducted by Mr C. R. Goudge will take the form of a memorial service for the late Rev W. Macdonald.

The Sunday School anniversary services to be held at Knox Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. 1 Stuart C. Francis. 8.A.. of St. Paul’s Church. Napier. Special music, which is always a feature of these services, will be rendered both at II a.m. and 7 p.m. by the children of the Sunday School. Country services will be held at Matahiwi at 2 p.m. when the Rev. John Davie will be the preacher, at Te Whiti at 1.30 p.m. and at Te Wharau at 3 pm. where Mr Muir will preach.
