PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
MODERATOR OF ASSEMBLY. REV. J. DAVIE NOMINATED UNANIMOUSLY. The Rev. John Davie, of Masterton, has been nominated unanimously as Moderator of General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, which will meet in Timaru in November, 1941. This is the highest honour that the Presbyterian Church can confer upon a minister. Timaru is the home town of Mr Davie.
