Miss Doreen Kennedy, Opaki Road, is visiting Nelson. Mrs M. Mowry, Masterton, is spending a few days at Franz Josef Glacier. Mrs McCracken, Villa Street, Masterton. is staying with her daughter. Mrs McConnell, Christchurch. Mrs Maitland, Senr., Auckland, is visiting Mr and Mrs A. T. Maitland, Hacker Street, Masterton. Mrs L. Nesbit, who has been staying with her mother, Mrs P. R. Cook, Lincoln Road, Masterton, has returned to Lower Hutt. Miss Norah Beetham. “Towcett,” Perry Street, Masterton, will leave this week for Auckland, where she will commence training at the Karitane Hospital.
The death occurred yesterday at Otaki, of Mrs. R. T. Parsons, a wellknown former resident of Tawaka. A husband and two sons are left to mourn their loss.
