MAURICEVILLE

PATRIOTIC QUOTA MEETING HELD LAST NIGHT. (“Times-Age” Special.) A meeting of those interested in raising the district quota of £3OO in connection with the £1.000,000 patriotic appeal was held in the Mauriceville Hall last night. Mr E. W. Cheetham presided over a good attendance. It was decided to hold a social in the Mauriceville East Hall on Saturday, November 23. when a card tournament will be held as well as dancing and a Paddy’s Market. Arrangements in connection with the supper were left in the hands of Mrs J. Baine.
