NOW PART OF FREE FRENCH EMPIRE HEADQUARTER’S COMMUNIQUE GARRISON SURRENDERS (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 11.55 a.m.) RUGBY. November 11. The headquarters of the Free French forces has issued the following communique:—“The garrison of Libreville accepted the conditions of the commanding officer of the Free French forces for a cessation of hostilities. The officer commanding the garrison surrendered himself at 4.30 a.m. on November 10. The warships Savorgnan de Brazza and Commandant. Dokina, of the Free French Navy, entered Libreville harbour. The capital of Gaboon becomes henceforth part of the Free French Empire.”
