Research work into tuberculosis is now being carried oh at Otago University as a result of a bequest from the W. H. Travis Trust. The men appointed to carry out the work are Dr N. L. Edson and Mr G. J. E. Hunter, M.Sc., and members of the trust have visited the university and inspected the research operations. Arrangements have been made to continue the work for a period of years. The success of the work to date is due largely to the enthusiasm and industry of the research officers,” states a report, “and to the fact that they have, at all times, been able to obtain the advice and assistance of physicians and other specialists at the university.”
