Belle Cane 1 Gayest Son 2 Schoolgirl 3 Scr. —Kentucky, Poutatau and Wild Coon. Royal Lancer was fourth. LINWOOD HANDICAP, 7f. 12/12 Pleading, 7.7 1 1/ 1 Blandisher, 8.3 2 4/ 4 Augment, 8.6 3 Scr.—Race Away, Retrogression, Show Boy. Pleading came from far back and won well. Time, 1.25 2-5. All Night was fourth, NEW ZEALAND CUP, 2 miles. 6/5 Serenata, 7.0 1 5/6 Taurangi, 8.8 2 4/3 Little Robin, 7.7 3 All started. Capricious was fourth.
