DERAILS ENGINE & TRUCKS MISHAP ON MAIN TRUNK LINE. DRIVER & FIREMAN ESCAPE INJURY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. A huge boulder crashed from a cliff face on the Main Trunk line near Hihitahi station and caused the derailment of a K locomotive and eight trucks of a goods train southward bound from Ohakune last night. The running of trains was disorganised today and the expresses were delayed. The locomotive, after striking the boulder, rolled over on its side. The driver and fireman escaped injury. The trucks were badly smashed.
