OBITUARY
MR GEORGE POWER. The death occurred today of Mr George Power, of Beaumaris. Langdale. a very highly respected resident of the district. The late Mr Power was born at Walton-on-Thames, England, 77 years ago. He followed the occupation of an engineer. Coming to New Zealand 16 years ago he resided with his daughter. Mrs J. B. Walker, of Beaumaris. His wife predeceased him about two months ago. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs J. B. Walker, Beaumaris, Langdale, and one son, Mr J. Power (Canada). The funeral will leave the Chapel of Hyde's Funeral Service on Monday, following a service at 2 p.m.
