KNOCKED OVER BY MOTOR
MAN DIES FROM INJURIES. VEHICLE FAILS TO STOP. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. An elderly man, Mr Albert Edward Boyes, retired, living at 7 Halswell Street, Wellington, was knocked over by a motor vehicle, which failed to stop, in Cambridge Terrace last night. The accident occurred at about 8.25 p.m. The Free Ambulance was called, but Mr Boyes, who received head injuries and a compound fracture of his right leg, died before he could be admitted to hospital.
