Kalinin, in a speech on the twentythird anniversary of the revolution, said: — "Russia intends to pursue strict neutrality. Our sea trade has suffered, but when almost the whole world is involved in war it is a great joy to know we are standing aside. We must thank Comrade Stalin for this.”
