FOUR MILLION LEAD
CREDITED TO PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT DEMOCRATIC MAJORITIES IN CONGRESS. REPUBLICANS GAIN FOUR SENATE SEATS. President Roosevelt, was given a triumphal welcome on his return to Washington, the 8.8. C. stales. The latest figures give him a majority of over four millions on the popular vote. The Democrats have increased lheir majority in Ihe House of Representatives, but the .Republicans have gained four seats in the Senate. The Democrats, however, hold 66 of the 96 seats in that Chamber.
