SAFE CONDUCT FOR AMERICAN SHIP TO TAKE NATIONALS HOME FROM IRELAND. ITALY MORE OBLIGING. Germany has refused a request by the United States Government for a safe-conduct for a ship to take home 1200 Americans from a West of Ireland port, the 8.8. C. states. It is observed that the refusal shows a strange lack of coordination between the Axis Powers, as a similar request made to Italy received a prompt and favourable reply.
