Athens, in reply to the message to the Greek nation sent by the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser: — “On behalf of the Greek people and the Hellenic Government I wish to express to the Government and the people of New Zealand my warmest thanks for their cordial wishes, which

strengthen us in our struggle.- The sympathy and appreciation expresesd in favour of our armed forces are most welcome and the more so as the bravery of the New Zealand Army is worldfamous. We will continue the fight to the end for the final victory of the high principles of morals, justice and liberty.”
