BIBLE CLASS

RALLY IN MASTERTON. There was a large attendance at the inter-denominational bible-class rally held in Knox Hall on Sunday. The Rev. V. Joblin was in the chair. An inspiring address was given by the Rev.. H. Taeapa and those present enjoyed a community sing led by Mr Alan Barns, assisted by an orchestra. Apologies for absence were received from Archdeacon E. J. Rich and Major Mahaffie. The chairman extended a welcome to two visitors, the Rev. H. Goodman, of Cambridge, and Mr. Ivan Muir, B.A. A vote of thanks was passed to the Knox Church elders, the speaker and all who assisted to make the gathering a success. The Rev. John Davie closed the rally by pronouncing the Benediction, after which God Save the King was sung.
