ENEMY TACTICS
FALSIFICATION OF GREEK NEWS EXAGGERATION OF BRITISH AID. IN HOPE OF CAUSING LATER DISMAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, November 5. An authoritative warning against paying too much attention to “good news” from Greece is issued. , It stated that Italian and German sources are busy cabling throughout the world, quoting Greek circles from Cairo, Athens, Belgrade, Ankara and Salonika, telling lof British landings and actions, with the object of causing dismay and disheartening the Greeks if British aid does not reach the heights of these rosy messages. It is the enemy’s intention to provoke denials, thus causing a blow to the Greek morale. i
Late messages state, the 8.8. C. reports, that there is little change in war operations in Greece. The Greeks are still bombarding- Koritza. The Italians continue to concentrate their air attacks on the interior of Greece, these attacks being directed mainly against civilians either in small towns or in villages. Since October 28, air raid victims in Greece total 291 killed and 690 injured. It is now stated that in the raid on Monastir by the three unidentified planes, nine people were killed and 21 injured. Monastir is 12 miles from the Greek frontier and’2B miles from Albania. Yugoslavia has intimated that any further such attack- will be dealt with by all the means at the disposal of its armed forces. ITALIAN REPORT (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, November 5. An Italian communique states: “Our troops in Epirus continue their advance and have reached the head of the Volus River.” '
