DRIVE ON KORITZA

AN IMPORTANT ROAD JUNCTION MEN & MATERIALS TAKEN BY GREEKS. > ACTIONS ON VARIOUS PARTS OF FRONT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, November 5. The most important development in the land war is that Greek artillery has begun to shell the town of Koritza, in Albania, which is now dominated by Greek forces. Koritza is an important road junction, and the attack will make it difficult for the Italians to send reinforcements to any part of the front. The Italians bombed and machinegunned both flanks of the Greek front yesterday. In the day’s air activity five Italian planes and one Greek plane were lost. In actions- in various parts of the front the Greeks took a number of prisoners and captured a quantity of material. In the Epirus sector the Greeks made attacks on Italian concentrations on the coast. The Greek night communique states: “On the Macedonian front our troops occupied another Albanian hilltop, from where they began shelling Koritza. Five Italian planes were brought down during the day. One of ours is missing. Our aircraft bombed enemy concentrations on the Macedonian and Epirus fronts, dispersing supply columns.
