ITALIAN DIVISION SURROUNDED IN ALBANIA
Threat to Enemy Communications f TOWN IN YUGOSLAVIA BOMBED ATTEMPT TO FASTEN RESPONSIBILITY ON GREECE Greek forces advancing - into Albania, a 8.8. C. broadcast reports, have surrounded an Italian division in the mountains east of Koritza. Tanks were used by the Greeks during the engagement. Greek planes have bombed Koritza and enemy troop concentrations and communications. Two persons were killed and five wounded in a raid made by three unidentified planes on the town of Monastir, in Yugoslavia. One of the bombers is stated to have been a Fiat. The Italians are trying to suggest that the planes ’core Greek markings, but it is pointed out in Greece that this would not be surprising in view of the fact that the Italians are continually using planes with Greek markings. An emergency meeting of Cabinet is being held in Yugoslavia to consider the incident.
