.s>■ UNDER SOCIAL SECURITY ACT. STILL BEING CONSIDERED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. This Day. Referring to medical benefits, under the Social Security scheme, the Finance Minister (Mr Nash) said that since the Social Security Act came into force. 37.000 babies had been born, which meant the payment of five guineas for each to the medical profession. Proposals were still under consideration in regard to medical benefits between the Government and the B.M.A.
