DOMINION’S RICHEST RACE t WELLINGTON CUP IN JANUARY. TO CARRY.A STAKE OF £3,100. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day., The Wellington Cup which is to be run in January next, is to carry a stake of £3,100, including a trophy valued at £lOO, which makes it the richest race in the Dominion this season. Prize money totalling £14,950 has been decided on for the three days of the meeting, the programme being identical with that of last January except for the value of the trophies.
