TWO BRITISH MERCHANT CRUISERS NUMBER OF SURVIVORS FROM BOTH SHIPS. A DMIR ALT Y ANNO UNCEMENT. The British Admiralty announces, the 8.8. C. reports, the loss of two armed merchant cruisers of 18,000 tons and 11,000 tons. Both w’ere torpedoed. A number of the officers and men on each vessel were saved. ITALIAN SUBMARINES ANOTHER TWO REPORTED SUNK. ■ The sinking of two mere Italian U-boats is reported, the 8.8. C. states.
