WELLINGTON CLUB MEETING AT HUTT PARK ON SATURDAY. PRINCIPAL RACE TO THREE TENS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Wellington Trotting Club’s November meeting at Hutt Park on Saturday afternoon was commenced with rain falling steadily, but the club’s luck was in for the rain ceased after the second race and conditions became quite enjoyable for the remainder of the programme. The large crowd in attendance had one of its most exhilarating day's sport at the Park and a particular thrill was given in the Royal Handicap, in which Three Tens and Happy Locanda flashed over the line together. The totalisator turnover was £36,483 10s, compared with £28,771 last year, an increase of £7712 10s. The following are the results: —

The Invercargill Trotting Club’s meeting was held on Saturday in fine but showery weather. The track was dead after overnight rain. The totalisator handled £17,934, compared with £15,401 last year, an increase of £2533. There was a good attendance.
