CHURCH SERVICES
Mr. W. J. Lowe will be the speaker at both Church of Christ services tomorrow. ■ The Rev. D. McNeur will hold services tomorrow at Lansdowne, Rangitumau and Kopuaranga. The services at Knox Presbyterian Church and at Matahiwi tomorrow will be conducted by Mr Ivan Muir. The Bible Class group will officiate at Te Whiti and Westmere. A rally is to be held in the Church Hall, commencing at 4.43 o’clock on Sunday afternoon, tc which Sunday school teachers, Bible Class folk and church officers and friends are invited. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Archdeacon E. J. Rich will be the preacher both morning and evening. The Rev. V. W. Joblin will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. There will be a service at Taueru at 2.30 p.m. The Masterton Methodist Church Sunday school will celebrate its 84th anniversary tomorrow, when services will be held at 11 a.m., 2.45 p.m., and 7 p.m. These services will be conducted by the Rev H. S. Kings. The Masterton Methodist Sunday school has always been noted for its musical ability. This year a large choir has been trained by Miss Ivie Donald, and the singing promises to be of exceptional merit. Miss Connie Donald, L.R.S.M., will preside at the organ and Miss G. Grigg, L.R.S.M., will officiate as pianiste. The anniversary services are always a special feature of the church life, and it is anticipated that there will be a large attendance. The services at Wangaehu and Kuripuni Methodist churches tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev G. H. Goodman, of Cambridge. Mr Goodman was appointed by the Methodist Conference as assistant to the president, the Rev L. B. Neale.
