ARMY HOSPITALS
AUSTRALIAN BUILDING PLAN. Eight military hospitals to accommodate nearly 4,000 patients are being built in Australia at a cost of nearly £3,000,000, the Minister for the Interior (Senator Henry S. Foil) has announced. Proposed extensions to hospitals in Adelaide and Brisbane will give an additional 1150 beds. The establishments will be built in different States and the number does not include camp hospitals of which a large number has already been erected and equipped.
