SPANISH NEUTRALITY
SURE TO BE MAINTAINED ACCORDING TO LEADER OF AIR MISSION. NO PASSAGE FOR FOREIGN TROOPS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, November 1. Lieutenant-Colonel Ansaldo, leader of the Spanish air mission which is visiting Britain at the invitation of the Government, has arrived. He said he had been led to believe that London 'was nearly in ruins, but was glad to see that such was not the case. Lieutenant-Colonel Ansaldo said he was sure that Spain would remain neutral. He also expressed the view that Spain would not allow foreign troops to march through her territory.
