A NURSE HONOURED PRESENTATION FROM HOSPITAL STAFF. ("Times-Age” Special.) Prior to her severing her connection ' with the nursing staff of the Greytown ■ Hospital Miss Grace Graham was en- ■ tertained at a social in the Nurses' • Home. Miss Graham was presented 5 with a fountain pen by the staff of the i hospital. Miss Graham left today for Levin • where she will reside with her parents for a few weeks, prior to joining the 1 Palmerston North Hospital nursing 1 staff. School Crops. Thanks to the assistance of Messrs Feast brothers for the use of their seed sower the Greytown District Higb School pupils have now sown their mangolds. Mr G. Robinson gave his time and his tractor to do the sowing and the boys in return assisted Mr Robinson in the planting of his potato crop. Personal Items. Misses Betty Gregor and Elsie Gregor have returned from Titahi Bay where they spent the weekend. Mrs N. S. McLeod returned to Greytown today from a visit to Dannevirke. Miss L. Hill, of West Street, has left for a holiday visit to Dannevirke. Entertainment for Soldiers. The Greytown Citizens’ Patriotic Committee will entertain the local members of the Expeditionary Force who are on leave at a social and dance in the Town Hall on Friday evening and it is expected that there will be a large number of soldiers and friends present. Floral Fair. The special features of the Floral Fair which is being organised by the St. Luke's Ladies’ Guild will be the staging of a tableau and songs in costume by a band of young ladies who are at present busy putting in some hard practice.
