C. broadcast reports, 22 enemy planes were brought down. Seven of our planes were lost but the pilots of four are safe. Few of the raiders penetrated to London and little damage and few casualties were caused in the metropolitan area. British bombing squadrons have again heavily attacked the German naval bases at Kiel, Wilhelmshaven, Emden and Hamburg. Considerable further damage has been done to oil refineries at Hamburg and Cologne. Railway junctions and nineteen aerodromes in occupied territory were also successfully Attacked.
