SALVATION ARMY

SPECIAL WEEKEND SERVICES. There was a large attendance at a special service held in the Salvation Army Hall, Masterton, on Saturday night by the Napier Salvation Army Band and the Songster Brigade. A programme of a high standard of entertainment was presented. Major Hildreth presided. The band was under the conductorship of Bandmaster Pengelly and responded to many encores. Record attendances were present at the services held yesterday, conducted by Major Hildreth, and assisted by Major Mahaffie. After the service last night the Napier Salvation Army Band gave several items by popular request.

The visiting band and Songster Brigade returned to Napier today.
