NEWS FROM FRONT

APPOINTMENT OF SECOND CORRtSPONDENT. JOURNALIST WITH FORCES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, October 26. The appointment of Mr. Robin Templeton Miller as second war correspondent with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force was announced today by the Director of Publicity, Mr. J. T. Paul. When war was declared Mr. Miller was a reporter on the staff of the “Auckland Star.” He was one of the first to enlist and was posted to the second divisional signallers in the First Echelon, with the rank of signalman. On arrival in Egypt he became closely associated with the official news service of the N.Z.E.F., and his work in this respect became important in view of the fact that Mr. J. H. Hall, the chief New Zealand war correspondent, went to England with the Second Echelon.
